• Baron Corbin kicked off the show with an in-ring promo about how spoiled the NXT Superstars are. None of them have the talent to back up their egos, and he’s going to make sure the next people called up to the main roster have to earn it. Ilja Dragunov interrupted and challenged Corbin to a fight for later.
• Earlier today, cameras tracked how Thea Hail is pumped for the battle royal and Duke Hudson imparted some words of wisdom to her.
• During the commercial break, Bron Breakker attacked Dragunov backstage. It’s since been announced Trick Williams will face Baron Corbin later instead.
• Schism (Ava and The Dyad) defeated Diamond Mine by pinfall. Ava pinned Ivy Nile.
• Von Wagner’s search for a therapist isn’t going well. But when he finally comes across one who is a hot blonde woman, he’s willing to give it a shot.
