During the closing segment of the latest WWE NXT episode, viewers were treated to ZARIA’s debut (previously known as Delta).
A report by Fightful Select revealed that due to pre-planned measures to precisely go off the air at 10:00 PM EST, the final segment was not aired in several regions because it ran overtime. It’s revealed that extensive pre-planning was done this week to ensure that everyone nailed their cues perfectly.
Unbeknown to the producers, the Orlando based CW affiliate’s feed was running a time delay of upwards 20-seconds. Unfortunately, this resulted in the ending of the program getting cut off from various other CW affiliate feeds.
The unplanned cut-off of WWE NXT’s concluding moments reportedly caused intense dissatisfaction among the show’s officials. A sourced affirmed that all individuals who either manage the show or have any influence on it were understandably frustrated, stating sharply, “Everyone who runs or has a say in the show was pissed.”
