Baron Corbin appeared on WWE NXT again this week and found himself confronted by Ilja Dragunov following which he battled Trick Williams in singles action.
Tuesday’s episode of NXT saw Corbin cut a promo in the ring, accusing the NXT brand of becoming soft and entitled. The former Money In The Bank winner declared his goal is to make every single NXT talent regret signing a developmental contract with WWE.
Corbin’s promo brought out Ilja Dragunov, who boasted his upcoming NXT Title shot against Carmelo Hayes. Corbin and Dragunov then agreed to a match, but the bout was canceled after Bron Breakker brutally assaulted Dragunov backstage.
Corbin instead faced Trick Williams and scored a win off End of Days.
