Ricky Saints is making a triumphant return to NXT, seeking vengeance for his past defeat.
Since his defeat on the May 27 episode of WWE NXT, Saints has been out of action. He lost his NXT North American Championship to Ethan Page in a grueling match, which took a dark turn when Page executed his famed Twisted Grin move, causing Saints’ throat to smash into a steel chair’s crossbar. A laryngeal contusion was revealed in the aftermath, as confirmed through a CT scan shown on the June 3rd episode. WWE announced then that further updates would follow.
However, no additional updates were necessary — Saints made a shocking comeback on this week’s WWE NXT episode, storming Page just moments after the latter’s successful title defense against Sean Legacy.

In an unexpected turn of events, AAA stars such as Mr. Iguana and Psycho Clown made a surprise appearance at the WWE NXT episode on June 10.
Just before the tag team match featuring Shawn Spears and Niko Vance vs Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura, Psycho Clown and Octagón Jr. were seen among the audience.
Their cameos follow their contribution to the WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide event, with Octagón Jr. gearing up to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank.
