Just a week ago, WWE registered a unique trademark for the term The Culling. It has now been revealed that it’s going to be the tagline for a new faction in NXT.
The name initially seemed like it could be assigned to Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, and Osiris Griffin’s group. However, this mysterious, semi-masked foursome, reminiscent of the Retribution, seems to be focusing only on randomly selected victims. They demonstrated this yet another time by ambushing Je’Von Evans following his triumph over Ethan Page in the New York City Street Fight.
So where does The Culling exactly fit in?
It appears that The Culling is actually the label for the faction spearheaded by Shawn Spears, comprising Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame.
