In a heated exit from this week’s WWE NXT episode, a disgruntled Brooks Jensen unceremoniously stormed out of the WWE Performance Center’s parking area, venting frustration at his peer Josh Briggs. Blaming Briggs for a supposed interference that led to a match loss against Je’Von Evans, Jensen’s fury was palpable.
Jensen, in his raging state, felt further provoked by Briggs’ attempts to protect Evans from Jensen’s wrath. Consequently, Jensen challenged Briggs for a No Disqualification match that will take place at the next week’s episode.

Another off-stage event that resulted in a match announcement involved Ashante “Thee” Adonis attempting to court the women of the NXT roster around the food service area. This sparked an uproar from Oro Mensah when Adonis began flirting with Jakara Jackson.
While Mensah is preoccupied with attacking Ethan Page, this new development seems to take immediate precedence. Especially considering Ava’s comments about Mensah being out of the title picture, a win over Adonis next week might position Mensah for a rightful chance at Page, with whom he continues to have animosity.

A furthermore intriguing bout between Eddy Thorpe and Lexis King was scheduled for the following week. This comes after a brief showdown where Thorpe was DJing, and King decided to stir things up by interrupting him, which predictably led to a brawl between the two.
