The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shared details on the traditional pay-per-view buys and Google search interest for WWE Night Of Champions 2023.

Night Of Champions had the most viewership on Peacock of any of WWE’s events in Saudi Arabia.

The event had 8,300 traditional pay-per-view buys, which is up from last month’s Backlash event (6,700). The numbers are quite impressive considering Backlash airs during prime time and Night of Champions took place in the middle of the day (1 PM ET).

14.4% of those who bought Night Of Champions also purchased AEW Double Or Nothing the following night (Sunday). This was the highest crossover of WWE and AEW pay-per-view buys ever. 20% of satellite dish owners purchased both shows. Dish owners are usually stronger for WWE and weaker for AEW.

As a comparison, 8.4% of those who bought WWE Elimination Chamber also purchased AEW Revolution the same month. However, those shows were two weeks apart instead of 24 hours.

WWE was #6 on May 27 for Google searches with 200,000, which is a normal amount. on the other hand, AEW was #11 on May 28 with 50,000.

That means AEW searches were only a quarter of what WWE harbored. While other searches indicate the figure was probably closer to 40%, a more detailed analysis will be available next week.
