Bill Apter praised the singles match between Rey Mysterio and Solo Sikoa from this week’s episode of WWE RAW as a counter to Bret Hart’s complaints about the current state of wrestling that involves wrestlers being too rushed and performing constant leg slaps.
Speaking on the “WrestleBinge” podcast for Sportskeeda, Apter noted that the match was highly enjoyable with zero dead spots. He said,
“Well on Monday Night Raw this past week, I saw the opposite of that. And it was Solo Sikoa against Rey Mysterio … Bret Hart I hope if you’re watching this, I hope you get to that this match because that defies everything you said last week. It was boom, boom, boom. There was no dead spots at all.”
