WWE Money in the Bank PPV Canceled By Royal Farms Arena
The Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, the building that was supposed to host WWE’s next big PPV event, has officially pulled the plug. An update on their website has confirmed that WWE Money in the Bank 2020 has been canceled by the building and that refunds are being processed for any ticket purchasers.
WWE MONEY IN THE BANK PPV *CANCELED* The WWE Money in the Bank event originally scheduled for Sunday, May 10 in Baltimore has been canceled. Refunds are available at all points of purchase.
This is not unexpected because of the ongoing global pandemic, but WWE did advertise that the show was taking place during Night 2 of WrestleMania this past weekend. It’s possible that WWE will forge ahead with the event in an empty Performance Center, similar to WrestleMania 36.
WWE is believed to still be taping shows in Orlando this week, but the company isn’t confirming one way or the other due to the city’s stay at home order. With RAW, SmackDown, and NXT forging ahead despite the hardships, it’s hard to see the company skipping Money in the Bank without some significant extenuating circumstances.
