WWE is reportedly considering the introduction of a unique championship for the ongoing conflict between wrestling superstars Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
For several months now, Reigns and Sikoa have been in a high-tension feud, battling it out for the supreme title of “Tribal Chief.”
The WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 saw Reigns put Sikoa on the mat in the men’s WarGames match. The original Bloodline, joined by CM Punk, triumphed over the new Bloodline led by Bronson Reed.
Anticipation is building as Reigns and Sikoa get ready to go head-to-head in a Tribal Combat Match. This highly-awaited showdown is slated to occur during the debut episode of WWE RAW on Netflix, scheduled for release next month in Los Angeles.
According to insider reporting by WrestleVotes, WWE is contemplating the launch of a new championship exclusive to this feud, titled the “Tribal Chief Championship”. This concept draws parallels to The Rock’s “People’s Championship.”
The report quoted anonymous sources, stating, “Sources indicate WWE has discussed introducing a Tribal Chief Championship into the storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, similar to the People’s Championship presented to The Rock at WrestleMania earlier this year.”
The timeline for when WWE plans to unveil the new title remains uncertain at this time.
