The highly anticipated WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 is slated to unfold on Saturday, November 30. The grand wrestling event is scheduled to be held at the Rogers Arena, situated in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
As suggested in the recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio by Dave Meltzer, WWE appears to be shifting gears this time around, opting to implement a 4-on-4 clash setup rather than the typical 5-on-5 confrontations.
Commenting on this new direction, he said, “Everything seems to be leaning towards a four-on-four setup in place of a five-on-five.”
Such changes come amidst the escalating drama involving personalities like Sami Zayn, The Usos, Roman Reigns, and the latest iteration of The Bloodline, featuring Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
The storyline reached its peak during the WWE Crown Jewel 2024 event. It saw Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) go head-to-head against Sikoa’s team, which ended in an unexpected defeat and a tense, post-match confrontation that included Sami Zayn.
While WarGames usually features a total of 10 wrestlers, this novel approach of a 4-on-4 showdown could potentially increase the stakes and put more emphasis on the personal rivalries within the Bloodline narrative.
