The Netflix docuseries, “Mr. McMahon” offers a layered portrayal of Vince McMahon spread across six hour-long episodes. The series explores several sexual misconduct allegations made against McMahon by numerous women, at the same time offering viewers a close look at McMahon’s position as a father figure in the WWE.

Top WWE superstars contribute to the series with interviews and shared testimonials of their experiences with McMahon. Many of these stars and WWE veterans depict McMahon as the head of the larger WWE family.

In one memorable segment, McMahon speaks about the role he plays in the wide WWE family stating, “We have a family. Not the McMahon family. We have a much broader family. In terms of a family-type thing, I’m the patriarch.”

Chiming in, Triple H adds, “You hear people say this a lot in our business about Vince; ‘He was almost like a father to me.’”

Fellow WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker and Trish Stratus echo similar sentiments, each acknowledging McMahon as a father figure in their lives. WWE legend The Undertaker goes so far as to say, “He’s had the role of a father figure in my life. I’d honestly take a bullet for that man.”

In an extra to the series, Wrestling Hall of Famer JBL speaks with “Sportskeeda Wrestling” about his collaboration with fellow honoree, the late Eddie Guerrero. JBL commends Guerrero’s electric personality and high-level performance in the ring, comparing him to such impactful Superstars as Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels.

JBL makes an effort to explain Guerrero’s exceptional talent, but admits, “It’s inexplicable to say to people how good he was, you don’t get that from watching him.”
