WWE has unveiled a new YouTube channel entirely devoted to content from World Championship Wrestling (WCW), complete with comprehensive episodes and full pay-per-view events.
Included in the channel’s library are noteworthy programs, featuring the inaugural episode of Monday Nitro under the WCW banner, as well as the famous night where Lex Luger earned a victory against Hollywood Hogan for the coveted WCW World Title.
Among the pay-per-view contents already available on the channel include Spring Stampede 1994, the inaugural Clash of the Champions event, and the final pay-per-view event of WCW, titled Greed 2001.
WCW was officially acquired by WWE in the early part of 2001. This acquisition not only concluded the Monday Night War, but also saw WWE gain the rights to all content from the now-discontinued WCW promotion.
Full events are available for viewing, including the entire WCW Greed 2001 show featuring iconic matches such as DDP vs. Scott Steiner and the father-son duo Dusty & Dustin Rhodes against Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett.
