The professional wrestling landscape has made room for a new face, as it is made official that Hikuleo is the latest talent to be signed to WWE.
For those who recall, we broke the news last month that Hikuleo’s journey with New Japan Pro Wrestling had come to an end. Expectations were high that he would soon join his siblings, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, in the WWE ring.
Reliable wrestling news outlet Fightful Select has revealed, citing multiple confirmations, that the deal has been sealed – Hikuleo is now a signed WWE superstar. However, the schedule for his grand debut still remains to be delineated.
It’s worth noting that WWE’s interest in Hikuleo didn’t materialize overnight. In fact, the wrestling giant had been eyeing him since January 2023. However, the repercussions of Vince McMahon’s comeback and the consequential sales to Endeavor resulted in an informal employment halt.
