WWE Has Discussed A Future Opponent For Brock Lesnar

After having a showdown in the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble match, WWE Intercontinental champion Gunther stated that he felt a match against Brock Lesnar “is the one that has to happen at some point.” 

Leading up to WrestleMania 39, Lesnar commented on a potential match against Gunther by noting, “I like the challenge and I like the match-up.”

The WRKD Wrestling Twitter account reported today that the idea of Gunther vs. Lesnar has been floated backstage:

“While Gunther has publicly stated during interviews that he’d like a match with Brock Lesnar, the idea has been floated backstage to potentially have them face off sometime this summer.”
