WWE was taking no possibilities with last weekend’s Women’s Royal Rumble match and had replacements all set in case a Superstar could not make it.
The sixth-annual Women’s Rumble saw Rhea Ripley win the match, ending up being the very first Australian to win a Rumble and the very first lady to win from the # 1 area.
PW Insider reports that Ivy Nile and Maxine Dupri were backstage as “alternates” in case any of the 30 ladies in the match could not complete.
Luckily, neither alternative was required as the Women’s Rumble went off without a drawback.
On RAW, Ripley revealed that she will be difficult SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39.
