In the most recent episode of WWE Raw, Ludwig Kaiser was injured in the ring during a bout with Bron Breakker. Despite the setback, the member of Imperium was still able to claim a win by DQ, courtesy of an interfering Sheamus.
Subsequently, Sami Zayn and Breakker made a pact to battle it out for the Intercontinental Title at the upcoming WWE Money In The Bank 2024.
According to inner-circle sources, like WrestleVotes, Kaiser was originally listed to engage in a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying contest with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus on the next episode of RAW prior to his injury.
Kaiser’s injury-induced absence has opened the door for Ilja Dargunov to replace him in the scheduled match.
In addition to the shakeup, there are other exciting bouts lined up for the next week’s Raw, including a title defense by WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan against Zelina Vega. Adding to this, an intriguing family feud is set with Rey Mysterio facing Dominik Mysterio, while Zoey Stark, Dakota Kai, and Ivy Nile vie for a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier.
