Fightful Select has provided an update on the highly anticipated WWE NXT television tapings, set to take place at the renowned 2300 Arena, which was previously recognized as the ECW Arena, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The report declares that top-ranking WWE officials have reached out to various former ECW members concerning their involvement in the show, most notably, WWE Hall of Famer and ECW icon, Lita (known off-ring as Amy Dumas).
It has been suggested that WWE is contemplating conducting a tag team face-off involving Lita. The proposed idea is for a gargantuan eight or ten-woman tag team battle for the forthcoming WWE NXT event to be held at the ex-ECW Arena. This idea has been floated and discussed several times over the past week.
In an unrelated visit, Lita is reported to have been at the 2300 Arena just this past week. Her most recent battle in the WWE ring was at the gladiatorial spectacle known as WrestleMania 39, where she united with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to conquer Damage CTRL.
ECW Veteran, Dawn Marie, is expected to grace the event as the special guest referee for the chaotic Hardcore Match featuring Lola Vice and Jaida Parker.
Expect the presence of another WWE Hall of Famer and seasoned ECW journeyman, Bully Ray (also familiar to many as Bubba Ray Dudley) at the upcoming November 6th event.
