If you watch wrestling for any length of time, you’re bound to notice bad camera cuts and unfortunately missed moves. Legendary moments can happen just out of the camera’s eye, and you can only hope for a replay. However, most of these moments don’t generate headlines the way that Edge’s return did after the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble Match. For those viewers of the live broadcast, Edge’s first Spear in years was overshadowed by a shot of fans in the crowd reacting to his return.

Fans took to social media to complain about the shoddy editing. Even Dolph Ziggler, the man who took the spear, chimed in to express his displeasure. WWE later released a YouTube video that included alternate camera angles and the missed move, and it seems that they’ve now re-edited the PPV to include the spot instead of the crowd reaction.

For those interested, #WWE has updated the Royal Rumble match on the WWE Network to show Edge spearing Dolph Ziggler, rather than the random camera cut to fans. pic.twitter.com/d8pnpDo9Ci

WWE Network is filled with edited content from the past, but this is one change that I doubt many will complain about in the future.
