To all WWE fans planning to be at Money in the Bank 2024, the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario will take on a different vibe tomorrow night. A call was made during the WWE Money in the Bank press event that fans attending SmackDown tonight (watch for ongoing results here) will receive white towels. This, paired with the request to dress in white, aims at achieving a “white out” spectacle during tomorrow’s show, as announced by Michael Cole.
The motive behind WWE’s drive for a white-out theme remains a mystery. Speculations suggest it could be an attempt to stir a trending topic, engage media attention or present an interesting visual twist planned within the show.

View from the author: Honestly, I was clueless that such a practice existed. As someone who doesn’t follow hockey, I didn’t know this was a common occurrence in Winnipeg and Penn State’s football match-ups. That’s the downside of only following sports entertainment and not branching out to other sports.
