WWE’s pay-per-view on New Year’s Day 2022 will seemingly be an event with a new name.

On Twitter, a fan shared a local commercial for the show in which “WWE Day 1” is clearly the name for the pay-per-view.

In the commerical, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena is also named as the venue for the show.

For the first time in 6 years, @WWE will be bringing a pay-per-view to Atlanta. "WWE DAY 1" is scheduled to be at the @StateFarmArena Saturday, January 1, 2022. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am et through Ticketmaster. @nodqdotcom @aaronrift #wweday1 pic.twitter.com/3Tul4rng5a

WWE Day 1 wil be held on Saturday, January 1, and it will be the first pay-per-view the company has held on New Year’s Day. The event was announced when SmackDown was held at the Rolling Loud music festival earlier this summer, when Atlana Hawks star player Trae Young broke the news in a brief video.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
