– ADVERTISMENT –

Drew McIntyre, who had been dealing with an injury and hadn’t been seen since WWE WrestleMania 39, returned at Money in the Bank 2023 to confront Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

McIntyre is reportedly unhappy with recent WWE creative and is also far apart on money with the company for a new deal, as his existing deal expires early next year.

Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that McIntyre hasn’t signed a new deal and the promotion could extend his existing deal to around WrestleMania 40 next April.
