Rob Gronkowski may be the current WWE 24/7 Champion, but that hasn’t stopped him from getting back into his original passion. Earlier Tuesday, Gronkowski was traded from the New England Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, making his return to the NFL official. Taking to social media, WWE congratulated Gronkowski, but also issued a warning to him.
On Twitter, WWE shared a congratulation to Gronkowski, but told him to be careful. Because the 24/7 Championship is always defendable, Gronkowski must now be ready to keep his title reign going even on the football field. Whether or not he actually holds onto the title up until the beginning of the NFL season is anyone’s guess, though.
Congratulations to @RobGronkowski, the current WWE 24/7 Champion, on his return to football.
Per the rules of the 24/7 Title, Gronk must defend his championship at all times in any location. He could be celebrating a touchdown pass from @TomBrady… anytime, anywhere.
