WWE Confirms Meiko Satomura’s Signing; Triple H Comments

Meiko Satomura is coming to NXT UK!

Earlier today, it was reported that the Japanese wrestling star was coming to WWE to work under the NXT UK brand and now WWE has officially announced her arrival.

WWE aired the following promo video during today’s NXT UK broadcast:

Following the announcement, Triple H also posted the following remarks in regards to her arrival, referring to Satomura’s arrival as a game-changer:

[email protected]’s presence will be an absolute game changer for the #NXTUK women’s division. @Kay_Lee_Ray wanted some more competition, one of the best in the world is coming… #WeAreNXTUK #BePrepared

A report from Yahoo! Japan stated Satomura, one of the most accomplished Japanse wrestlers in the world, is expected to wrestle and coach for the NXT UK brand. WWE fans will recognize her as she previously wrestled for WWE in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, losing to Toni Storm in the semifinals. Satomura also won world titles with Progress Wrestling, Fight Club: PRO, Gaea Japan, and World Wonder Ring Stardom.
