WWE Cancels Hall Of Fame Ceremony & NXT TakeOver

While WrestleMania 36 is still a go, the same can’t be said for WWE’s other planned festivities that week.

WWE announced via a statement that neither the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony or NXT TakeOver will occur WrestleMania week as previously planned. “We will share further details as they become available,” WWE says.

This comes after their statement that WrestleMania will be moved to the WWE Performance Center and happen on April 5 due to Coronavirus concerns:

In coordination with local partners and government officials, WrestleMania and all related events in Tampa Bay will not take place. However, WrestleMania will still stream live on Sunday, April 5 at 7 pm ET on WWE Network and be available on pay-per-view. Only essential personnel will be on the closed set at WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida to produce WrestleMania.

We’ll update this story once we have further details.
