Furthermore, during a recent “No-Contest Wrestling” podcast session, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry revealed his part in the upcoming Sixth Season of “Dark Side of the Ring”. Henry discussed producing an episode focused on Tony Atlas, another respected figure in the wrestling universe.
Here are some key points from the podcast session:
On getting involved in the sixth season of Dark Side of The Ring for an episode on Tony Atlas: “Prior to this, I never got involved with Dark Side of The Ring because I didn’t approve the manner in which they portrayed Black people. The representation wasn’t positive. On being given the opportunity to help produce it, I gladly accepted. That’s when Tony Atlas came into the picture.”
On Tony Atlas: “I vividly remember my grandmother getting all fidgety when [Tony Atlas made his entrance]. It was not love but depravity that made Tony the person he was. His family disowned him, hence the anguish.”
