In the latest ‘Gregway Special’ video, which was shared on the ‘Kinda Funny Games’ YouTube channel, Greg Miller, the host of ‘This Is Awesome’, confirmed his separation from WWE.
Here are some notable points from the video:
When talking about the end of ‘This Is Awesome’ after three seasons, Greg Miller revealed: “For those who aren’t aware, I hosted a WWE show named ‘This is Awesome’ wherein we discussed the most amazing moments in WWE’s history. We created three seasons of it, which were fantastic and absolutely phenomenal, but it has now officially concluded. I have been aware for quite some time that this was on the cards. I was just hoping to linger a bit on wwe.com/superstars because I wanted to keep referring to myself as a WWE Superstar. I saw this coming. You might have noticed that the closing of season three seemed like a ‘thank you for everything’ kind of message. While it could have passed as a season finale, we suspected that it might be the end of the series.”
Regarding the possible termination of the series due to the current streaming relationship between WWE and Netflix, he stated: “This was a Peacock show. However, ‘Raw’ is carried by Netflix in the United States. In other countries too, everything can be found on Netflix. Netflix was more in focus than Peacock with respect to what was happening. A couple of events then transpired. What astonished me was that the makers of ‘This is Awesome’ got fired in January. ‘That’s a bad sign. Without them, there’s no one to make it happen.’ Moreover, since Netflix became involved, Big E has been seen hosting a range of other shows. I think, most likely, this is the reason it doesn’t make sense for Greg Miller, a video game enthusiast, to host anything.’”
