Wrestling heavyweight Goldberg has shared his remorse concerning a notorious incident during his time at WCW where he wounded himself smashing a car window.
The notable Wendesday spectacle took place on the 23rd of December, 1999 on a WCW Thunder episode where Goldberg forcefully drove his forearm into a window of an nWo limousine, resulting in a severed artery in his hand. This regrettable event caused him to be unfit for a significant part of 2000.
In his recent conversation on “The Ariel Helwani Show,” Goldberg cited this mishap as one of his topmost laments. In his own words, he shared,
“Indeed. I wish instead of my hand, I had opted for the sledgehammer that was lying right there when departing from WCW, to smash the limousine. I wish I had allowed [Chris] Jericho to run a program with me before acting on my plan. In hindsight, I realize how many things I could have done differently.”
He further articulated, “None of us are perfect. Life itself is a continuous cycle of experiences and learning, striving to grow better with each passing day. No doubt, there are numerous things I would have changed.”
The regretful limousine debacle resulted in Goldberg receiving 199 stitches to his arm.
