A significant reveal last week was that Eddy Thorpe and Trick Williams are set to battle it out in an NXT Underground match, serving as the ultimate conclusion to their feud. This was further enhanced this week through some video snapshots, and a sequence where Williams ambushed Thorpe during a dialog.

In another update, Sol Ruca, along with Zaria, managed to secure victory over Chelsea Green, who partnered with Piper Niven in a tag team match. As a result, Ruca now has a shot at becoming the Women’s United States Champion. To help Ruca get into the right headspace, Zaria got Ruca involved in some high-energy activities like axe throwing and unleashing destruction in a rage room.

In another storyline, Ridge Holland shared his belief that Ricky Saints didn’t have a place in NXT, a sentiment echoed by Fatal Influence and Ethan Page. This spurred Saints to seek a match versus Holland, which NXT General Manager Ava was swift to sanction.

Lastly, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo was found brooding over having cost Tony D’Angelo the NXT North American Championship. As the underboss of The Family, Lorenzo managed to secure a match for the upcoming week. He will join forces with Luca Crusifino and Adriana Rizzo to take on Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, and Izzi Dame, who form part of The Culling led by Shawn Spears.
