In a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star Mariah May shared her thoughts on her current rivalry with Toni Storm. She addressed if she planned to betray Storm before the latter could do the same, among other topics.

Highlighted excerpts from the podcast are as follows:

Mariah May opened up about her association with Toni Storm, saying, “I owe everything I am today to Toni Storm. Everything – from clothes to knowledge to time, she gave it all to me. But she played a part in creating her own downfall. It’s all on her; even the fans saw it coming. She ignored them all and now she has to confront me in my own city this coming Sunday.”

When asked if she planned to turn on Storm before she could be betrayed, Mariah clarified, “No. There was never a moment I felt she could betray me. She always cared for me like a child. Her betraying me was never my concern. I always knew I was going to betray her, it was just a question of when. Wembley was the perfect moment, and that’s why I took the opportunity.”

Speaking on their upcoming match at All In, Mariah teased, “You should definitely watch All In. I will be joining the media scrum afterwards because I am confident I will emerge victorious over Toni Storm. I might share a bit about her intriguing yet tragic life. I have been pondering over this since my days in the UK, when I filled in for Toni at an indie event, trailed her to Stardom, and then to AEW.”

In regards to how she perceives the match will turn out, Mariah said, “I am eager to put an end to Toni’s rule. Even Thunder Rosa has failed before, yet they all adopted the wrong strategy. The key is to wage psychological warfare on Toni. I’ve got her emotionally invested in me, and now, it’s time to shatter that bond.”
