With Tony Khan Ringside & Help From Jerry Lynn, Private Party Earns IMPACT Tag Title Shot

Tonight’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling came to a close with a No. 1 Contender’s match between Private Party and Chris Sabin & James Storm, with the winners getting a shot at the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Championships. With Tony Khan and Matt Hardy watching from ringside, Private Party was able to come away with a win thanks to some late help from Jerry Lynn.

In an incredibly back-and-forth match between the two teams, Private Party was able to walk out with a thanks to the help of their All Elite Wrestling friends located at ringside. Towards the end of the match, Chris Sabin went up to the top rope to attempt a splash on Private Party, but with Matt Hardy distracting the referee, Jerry Lynn – who was with Tony Khan at ringside – grabbed Sabin’s leg.

With Sabin properly distracted, Private Party was able to end things by hitting their Gin & Juice finisher. With Private Party now solidified as the No. 1 Contender for the tag titles, they began to celebrate, but were quickly stopped by the Good Brothers, who came out and stared down the group. As the night came to a close, Storm and Sabin attacked the group, causing a chaotic brawl to take place.
