After triumphing over Kyle Fletcher in an intense steel cage match at AEW Revolution 2025, Will Ospreay expressed his future aspirations during an AEW Dynamite promo.
Discussing his risky decision to leap off the cage, a move which upset his wife, Ospreay revealed his desire to be the face of AEW. However, he also recognized that he must stand in line behind others. For instance, Cope is already set for a Street Fight showdown with Jon Moxley, and Swerve Strickland earned a title shot for AEW Dynasty.

Ospreay, however, remains undeterred. Announcing his participation in the forthcoming Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, Ospreay shared his vision of emerging triumphant, headlining the AEW All In: Texas, and ultimately, capturing the world championship.

As of now, no other contenders for the tournament or its kick-off date have been revealed.
Interestingly, plenty of dates remain between Dynasty and All In where Ospreay could get a title shot, AEW Double or Nothing on May 25th being one of them. Why then wait until July? Perhaps, Tony Khan believes All In to be a larger event compared to Double or Nothing which has lost some of its previous charm. But so far, there’s no in-story explanation. Let’s wait and watch if AEW sheds light on this.
