Will Ospreay is set to make his Major League Wrestling debut in November.
Will Ospreay’s arrival was announced during the MLW Fightland broadcast on VICE. During the MLW Embedded ‘halftime’ portion of the broadcast, Alicia Atout revealed that Ospreay would be making his debut in MLW “this fall” and asked the panel (F4W’s Dave Meltzer, Wrestling Inc’s Raj Giri, Sporting News’ Andreas Hale, WrassleRap/Talk N Shop’s Emilio Sparks) for their thoughts on the signing.
It was later confirmed by Rich Bocchini during a rundown of the MLW event calendar that Will Ospreay will make his debut on November 6 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The November 6 event features the “Intimidation Games” event theme; tickets are on sale now. No other details about what Ospreay’s appearance will entail were announced at the time of broadcast.
Will Ospreay has worked in the United States sparingly in the last few years, and the MLW Intimidation Games appearance will mark his first event in Philadelphia since he wrestled Jay Lethal at Ring Of Honor’s television tapings at the 2300 Arena on December 16, 2017. Ospreay is also set to appear at NJPW Showdown in October; the event takes place in Philadelphia and you can read the updated match card at this link.
