While speaking to Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Will Ospreay named his favorite TNA match of all time.
That match was the three-way bout between AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Samoa Joe from the Unbreakable pay-per-view in 2005.
“The AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe. It forever lives in my mind, like watching that as a fourteen year old kid, you will never understand the emotions. I remember having all my friends around, and we didn’t plan on watching wrestling, it literally just came on and all of us just wanted to be wrestlers because of that match and because of what TNA did. They filled in such a market and became so different and so unique. To see some of my favorite wrestlers go through TNA is like, it’s a testament to what they did and it’s a testament to it going forward. It can be done again, we can spark a whole new generation of guys, a whole new generation of TNA kids. That’s what I want. I was a TNA kid. I really hope there’s going to be like 14 year old kids that just watch, they’ll just channel flip and whether it’s Ace Austin and Chris Bey, whether it’s Josh Alexander, whether it’s Eric Young, whether it’s Giselle Shaw, it’s like any of those people, I want them to inspire a brand new TNA kid. I want that more than anything.”
