Will Ospreay On Kenny Omega – ‘You Can Say You’re Above Elite’
Will Ospreay defeated Kenny Omega at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II last night to regain the IWGP United States Championship, completing his redemption arc.
Following the match, the AEW camera crew caught up with Ospreay backstage, who proclaimed himself as “the last world beater of this generation” and added, “I am the best in the world, and tonight I proved it.” Ospreay then issued a challenge to Kenny Omega for a tie-breaker.

Following the event, Will Ospreay addressed several topics, including wrestling at AEW All In, during the post-show media scrum. He also praised Kenny Omega and was seen in a great mood throughout.
Taking to Twitter earlier this morning, he showered even more praise on Omega. He wrote,
“Kenny Omega is once in a lifetime. There will never be anyone that will be able to master the craft the way he has. Overcoming him was legitimately the most challenging and yet rewarding task of my life. While everyone can say they’re “all elite.” You can say you’re above elite.”
