In an interview with Metro.co.uk, he expressed his willingness to consider joining WWE.

“As age has become more apparent to me and my body is hurting more and more, I’m open to all avenues. I’ve had a lot of talks with my friends about this, and I have spoke to the missus. Although we’ve spent so much money on our new kitchen, we are open to the idea of relocating to the United States.

It’s on the table, that’s all I can really say,’ he added. ‘That means I am open to all options going forward. But now it’s time for me to really gauge and see what’s out there. So the Seth [Rollins] thing does intrigue me quick a lot. I heard him say in a promo, his 100% is the best in the world.

While I can sit here comfortably and say I am one of the top wrestlers in the world right now, there is other things to learn. Do I have an ego about this stuff? Of course I do, look at the catalog and look what I’ve delivered,’ he said. I’ve never had the machine behind me. I’ve never had guys tell me to walk this way, talk this way, look to the hard cam at all times. I’ve always done things on my own, I’ve gambled by myself and everything I’ve ever done has been off my own back.”

Will Ospreay, one of the top wrestlers in the world, is facing a significant decision in early 2024 when his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) expires. With several promotions, including WWE, AEW, and Impact Wrestling, expected to be interested in his services, Ospreay has expressed his willingness to consider joining WWE.

In an interview with Metro.co.uk, Ospreay revealed that as he gets older and his body starts to feel the toll of wrestling, he is open to exploring all avenues for his career. He has discussed the possibility with his friends and even with his partner, despite recently investing in a new kitchen. Relocating to the United States is not off the table for him.

Ospreay acknowledged that he is open to all options going forward and is intrigued by the idea of working with Seth Rollins. He mentioned Rollins’ claim that his 100% is the best in the world and expressed his own confidence in his abilities as one of the top wrestlers currently. However, he also acknowledged that there is always more to learn and improve upon, and joining a promotion like WWE could provide him with new experiences and opportunities for growth.

One aspect that sets Ospreay apart from other wrestlers is his independent spirit. He has always done things on his own, without the backing of a major wrestling promotion. He takes pride in his catalog of matches and the success he has achieved through his own efforts. Joining WWE would mean adapting to a different style of wrestling, where he may have to follow specific instructions and guidelines. Despite this, Ospreay seems open to the challenge and believes that he can continue to deliver exceptional performances.
