In 2025, Will Ospreay is making significant progress, showcasing remarkable skills in and out of the wrestling ring.
During AEW Revolution 2025, Ospreay emerged victorious over Kyle Fletcher in a thrilling Steel Cage Match. He is intent on furthering his success in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
In addition, Ospreay declared his ambition to grab the AEW World Championship at All In Texas 2025, signaling his aspiration to scale the apex of AEW.
Appearing recently on the “Insight” podcast, Ospreay commended AEW’s vision and applauded the exceptional content being produced by Tony Khan.
Dubbing himself The Aerial Assassin, he emphasized that AEW is the superior wrestling promotion in North America, outshining even the flourishing WWE.
Ospreay asserted, “For me, I believe in what AEW is doing. I believe in the style. I believe in the genre. I believe it is actually the best wrestling in North America right now. I just want to drive that home. I want to be the guy so I want to just keep doing what I’m doing out here and just hope we can just keep freaking putting out these classic shows, man. The recent Dynamites and Collisions have been f*cking stellar.”
He further added, “I’ve enjoyed it. I feel like I didn’t realize the potential heights I could touch here. It’s been an incredible journey and I feel like there’s so much I’ve accomplished and experienced, it’s almost difficult to fully comprehend it. There’s just something invigorating about packing your gym bag and heading to the gym, putting on your gym shoes, and getting it done. When I prep my bag and backpack, and head to the airport, there’s a burst of energy, a strong work ethic that kicks in. I’m on a mission, and I’m dedicated to it. It’s my goal to keep proving how much AEW is the best wrestling. I’m armed with this unyielding work ethic right now.”
