Who Will Win At AEW Full Gear 2024? | Question Of The Day

Greetings for yet another eWrestlingNews Query of the Day!

AEW Full Gear 2024 is all set to begin tonight, which translates to prediction time for all the contests on the card!

Today’s question for you is “Who do you foresee to triumph at AEW Full Gear?”

Don’t forget to share your insights in the comments section below.

Coming to my guesswork…

[Zero Hour] Singles Match: “Big Boom!” A.J. (with Big Justice) vs. Q. T. Marshall

Not being familiar with their claim to fame, this match doesn’t excite me. It’s a standard celebrity contest with them achieving victory through laughable antics, and Marshall is the scapegoat.

[Zero Hour] Singles Match: Anna Jay vs. Deonna Purrazzo

This match doesn’t seem significant, so it’s anyone’s game. Still, my bet is on Anna Jay as a more probable candidate for a title shot sooner than later. I admit that I might be blundersome in this case given these two are off my radar presently.

[Zero Hour] Four-Way Match: The Beast Mortos vs. Komander vs. Buddy Matthews vs. Dante Martin

Choosing a winner here is a lottery, but I think The Beast Mortos has the edge. If not him, then Matthews would be my runner-up choice.

Singles Match: MJF vs. Roderick Strong

I can’t see Roderick Strong emerging victorious here. Either MJF prevails or some underhanded tactics cause Strong to lose the contest.

Singles Match: Jay White vs. “Hangman” Adam Page

This match is a real coin flip; you could make a case for both contenders. If I had to choose, I’d side with Page mainly because he lost the previous encounter. Nonetheless, I do hear a whisper telling me to stick with White, meaning my speculation could be misguided.

Four-Way Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) (c) vs. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) vs. Kings of the Black Throne (Malakai Black and Brody King) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster)

It’d be absurd if Private Party lost the titles this soon after winning them. I predict retainment.

Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) (with Kamille) vs. Kris Statlander

It’s obvious. Mercedes, despite arguable overhype, is portrayed as a major asset to the company. I don’t anticipate a title drop here.

Singles Match for the AEW International Championship: Konosuke Takeshita (c) vs Ricochet

This contest is bound to be a spectacle. However, Ricochet is likely to end up on the losing end. It is not his moment yet, even though this title would suit him well. Here’s hoping a loss results in a heel turn and alignment with the Hurt Syndicate.

Singles Match: Swerve Strickland vs. Bobby Lashley

Considering this is Bobby Lashley’s first legitimate match in the company, he simply cannot afford a loss. Swerve should put up a valiant effort but ultimately succumb due to numerical disadvantage or similar tactics.

Singles Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

My mind is split here. Garcia could clinch the title, leading to Perry’s absence for a while. If Perry manages to retain, it won’t be the most astonishing result, but my gut suggests a title change.

Singles Match: Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay

Either Ospreay triumphs to aggravate Fletcher further or, more likely, Fletcher secures a win to add fuel to this heated feud. I expect more encounters between these two, with the victor potentially changing upon each bout.

Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. Orange Cassidy

I’d stake all my savings on Jon Moxley holding on to his title. As much as I am a fan of Orange Cassidy, this event isn’t where he’s going to win the championship. Moxley must make a statement by retaining his title.
