During their recent live event held in Chattanooga, TN, WWE concluded the final SmackDown opening-round battles of the King & Queen of the Ring tournaments on Saturday evening. LA Knight managed to best Santos Escobar, and Tiffany Stratton secured her victory over Michin to advance further in the competition.
Here’s what the amended quarterfinal match-ups look like:
King of the Ring – RAW:
In line to face off are GUNTHER against either the Lucha-Libre style Rey Mysterio or the high-flying Kofi Kingston. On the other hand, Ilja Dragunov is set to challenge Jey Uso.
Queen of the Ring – RAW:
IYO SKY is set to take on either Shayna Baszler or Zelina Vega. Rose star Lyra Valkyria will have to battle the expert technician, Zoey Stark.
King of the Ring – SmackDown:
The ‘Viper’ Randy Orton will square off against the dynamic Carmelo Hayes while LA Knight prepares to face down Tama Tonga.
Queen of the Ring -SmackDown:
Bianca Belair will be facing Tiffany Stratton, while powerhouse Nia Jax is set to go head to head with Jade Cargill.
