Hello to everyone and welcome once again to our ever-popular section, eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
We’re mixing things up slightly today since the WWE Stand and Deliver 2025’s line-up isn’t entirely certain. Rather than suggesting the biggest missing entrant, we still have some unknown competitors. This calls for a bit of a change and some forward thinking.
Today’s question for you all is “Who are the rightful contenders to claim the remaining 2 positions in the Women’s North American Championship ladder match? Who should face Ricky Saints for the title and who should win the tag team title shot gauntlet tonight on NXT?”
Feel free to share your responses in the comments section.
My own perspective is…
The chosen six women for the ladder match are peculiar, especially since Lola Vice and Karmen Petrovic, whom I considered definite choices, are left uninvolved. Also, the choice of making Jazmyn Nyx from Fatal Influence the potential lead is surprising, as well as not disclosing the plan for the final two slots.
I’m fascinated by the potential of both Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne joining the match, leading to a showdown between them and causing the disintegration of their faction. I’m saddened that Tatum Paxley, Cora Jade, and a few others couldn’t make to this level.
If WWE keeps the challenge to Ricky Saints single, Ethan Page is the obvious contender in my view. While I’d relish a fatal 5-way brawl among all of them, it’s not an immediate requirement. I’m fine with minor feuds between each contender and Saints. However, for this weekend, Page’s star power seems necessary for the card.
Regarding Fraxiom’s rivals, no match seems to be a fair comparison. It would be ideal if Matt and Jeff Hardy could claim a title shot and face Axiom and Nathan Frazer in a rematch. No other combination would draw as many viewers. If the choices are restricted to this crew, then perhaps Hank Walker and Tank Ledger could walk away victorious.
