My take on this…
I’m swaying between two likely candidates, Slick and Harvey Wippleman, depending on availability and willingness.
Both potential inductors would be suitable given they’re in good health and show interest, considering they were managers and hence knew James Harris better than most. Jimmy Hart, although a great alternative, seems more suitable to induct The Natural Disasters (although their confirmation is yet unverified).
Given the choice between Slick and Wippleman, my vote would tilt towards Harvey. Despite his long absence, his close rapport with The Rock could make him an accessible choice over Slick for the occasion. However, bear in mind that my view is speculative and not based on inside information. Nonetheless, Slick’s unique personality could potentially deliver a captivating and memorable Hall of Fame speech.
My sincere hope is that whoever inducts Kamala, should he be chosen, will not be completely unrelated, as this would undermine the significance of the occasion. The individuals mentioned are those I currently consider most suitable.
