In case you missed the news on AEW Dynamite, the line-ups for the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament have been unveiled.
For this year’s tournament, we have two specific questions for our QOTD edition!
The questions we want to discuss today are, “Who could be the dark horse in the men’s tournament, and who are you rooting for in both brackets?”

Looking at my opinion…
Please bear in mind that facing “Hangman” Adam Page is no small task. My initial thought was of Jeff Jarrett, considering that he shares links with both Page and Owen Hart, and incorporating him could be a compelling twist. However, upon reflecting, that idea fell flat for me – Page would either triumph or be defeated, and neither outcome truly adds depth to the story.
Having considered this, I’m now leaning towards Josh Alexander, a formidable contender who I believe could defeat Page yet ultimately fall to Kyle Fletcher.
In the end, I predict Will Ospreay emerging victorious in the men’s bracket, overcoming either Page, Fletcher, or the underdog. No disrespect to Mark Briscoe, but I feel he’ll be outmatched, especially considering Ospreay’s stake in kick-starting this tournament and his potential for an epic showdown with Jon Moxley at All In: Texas.
Regarding the women’s tournament, Mercedes Mone seems the likely winner. While I’d prefer a fresh face, rewarding Mercedes yet again doesn’t curtail the excitement. It also sets up a riveting title-for-title match with Toni Storm at All In. Emily Slick or Kris Statlander could provide a surprise, but without a strong narrative, they would likely lose to Storm.
