Renowned TNA and WWE commentator, Josh Mathews, was spotted at the AEW Dynamite TV tapings in Minnesota on Wednesday night. While it’s uncertain whether his presence implies a potential move to AEW, it’s important to note that his spouse, Madison Rayne has been part of the AEW team for some time, working in the capacity of a producer and a mentor.
Perry Saturn, a former wrestling star with WWF, WCW, and ECW, was also seen backstage at the TV tapings, interacting with the AEW team.
On March 24th, CMLL informed everyone that Mistico, due to certain injuries, including a semi-torn tricep and an ankle ligament injury on the right side, would take a break of two weeks. Mistico on CMLL Informa’s March 26th segment disclosed that his arm injury happened while he was in Japan the previous month. His injuries necessitate medication, rest, and rehabilitation, but are not severe.
Mistico’s injuries will result in him skipping several appearances, including the MLW World Middleweight Championship where he was to defend his title against Templario at MLW Battle Riot VII scheduled for April 5th.
In other exciting news, a collaboration between CMLW and MLW is upcoming in Mexico City on May 2nd at the famous Arena Mexico. Here’s an updated schedule for the show:
