Welcome back to another edition of eWrestlingNews Query of the Day!
We’ve got some wrestling news updates: Alex Hammerstone is no longer with TNA Wrestling, while Gail Kim was also shown the exit door this week. Notably, Saraya has parted ways with AEW. Thus, three spots are available on the free agency market.
Today’s query for you all is “What do you envision or desire as the next destination for these three?”

Moving on to my personal outlook…
Gail Kim would be a priceless contribution to All Elite Wrestling. Her presence could greatly enhance their women’s division. With rumors swirling that her dismissal might be connected to some issues with WWE overlapping with TNA, we can confidently scratch off World Wrestling Entertainment from her prospective itinerary. If she bypasses an opportunity at AEW, then her plans remain a mystery. Possibly, she might venture outside the confines of pro wrestling, since it’s unlikely any other wrestling establishment could match her financial expectations.
A move to WWE, specifically NXT, would greatly benefit Hammerstone, compared to AEW. Joining Tony Khan’s team would no doubt present him with great match opportunities, but eventually, he would fall below Brian Cage in the pecking order. AEW already has enough wrestlers of Hammerstone’s profile languishing mid-card, like Wardlow and Powerhouse Hobbs, who are not receiving the push they potentially could. Hammerstone joining that list wouldn’t be ideal. I hope to see him rise above this and prove himself as a great contender for the North American or even the NXT Championship by 2025. My expectation leans towards WWE signing him, unless Khan makes him a very attractive offer.
Saraya has expressed her desire to explore options outside of wrestling for a while, implying she will not be joining any wrestling team shortly. Nevertheless, a possible return to any wrestling association, be it AEW or WWE or even others like New Japan, MLW, NWA, and GCW, should not be ruled out. From my perspective, signing Saraya into WWE at her stage in her career would be a gamble given there are many other deserving women awaiting opportunities. Unless they offer her a WWE Legends deal, signing her could present budget-related repercussions. However, despite these reservations, I do predict a WWE comeback for her in some form or shape.
