“When I make my arrival at AEW, I’ll be handing out a world of hurt to all those vixens.”

Athena successfully defended her title as the ROH Women’s World Champion during a match with Queen Aminata at the ROH Death Before Dishonor 2024 event last week.

During a recent discussion with “Stephanie Chase on Wrestling,” Athena revealed that she has been the champion for a commendable 600 days and expressed her ambition to frequently appear on AEW programs.

Here are some notable snippets from her interview:

Athena on her aspirations to discuss returning to AEW with Tony Khan: “I’ve had numerous conversations with Tony in person about this issue. We did Battle of the Belts, and we’ve sporadically appeared here and there. We’ve also been part of pre-shows for various pay-per-views where I, along with Billie [Starkz] and Lexi [Nair], have participated. I believe it’s only a matter of time before things take a turn.”

On her goals when she makes her return to AEW: “Once I make my appearance on AEW, I intend to outperform all these ladies, and they won’t be able to hold a candle to me. So, if I’m the best-kept secret, they will regret not following ROH more closely.”
