AEW wrestler and Trios Tag Team Champion, Wheeler Yuta, recently appeared on an episode of “The Mark Hoke Show” where he revealed his views about the ultimate objective of The Blackpool Combat Club. He also expressed his aspiration for AEW to reach its utmost potential.
Highlighted excerpts from the podcast can be seen below:
Relating to the primary objective of the Blackpool Combat Club, Wheeler asserted, “Unfortunately, I’m not in the position to completely divulge our plans and ultimate vision, if I were to do so, they might not end up serving us well. Nevertheless, I can confirm our main objective is in line with what you suggested – to mold AEW into an establishment that every one of us can take pride in. AEW is already a place where a lot of commendable efforts are made, but simultaneously, it can get slightly chaotic. We, as the Blackpool Combat members, find several aspects to be cleaned up and certain things that we don’t particularly concur with.”
About his vision for AEW to reach the pinnacle of its capabilities, he stated, “We’ve had extensive discussions about these issues during our dispute with The Elite, when we criticized them as well as the roster for being amateurs. We aim to tighten our operations, evolve as a company. Sure, our methods might appear somewhat harsh and unfriendly, however, our ultimate intent is the holistic progress of the company.”
When asked about the Blackpool Combat Club’s expectations from the roster and how they intend to bring reform, he said, “Our earnest desire is for the roster to upgrade their performance. We are advocating for healthy competition. Ideally, we wouldn’t have to take the reins, but at this stage, it is imperative. Therefore, our endgame is to elevate everyone along with us. Our ultimate goal is to enhance AEW and reach a stage where hostile methods are not required anymore, and everyone can solely focus on their work, reaching their highest potential, as that is what is the most crucial for us.”
