Welcome to another edition in our eWrestlingNews fan discussion series. In this version, we are focusing on the women scheduled to throw down at this year’s WWE Money in the Bank ladder match!

This query is straightforward: “Organize the 6 WWE Superstar women in the line-up for this year’s ladder match by ranking them from worst to best.”

Use whatever scale you want. Who do you think/hope will be the top contenders to nab the Money in the Bank briefcase from this year’s women’s ladder match? Why does Wrestler X deserve the #6 spot and Wrestler Y the #1 spot, and so on?

Drop your feedback in the comments to keep the conversation flowing.

In the meantime, here are my rankings:

6. Iyo Sky

I firmly believe Iyo Sky stands no chance of winning. There’s little to no point since she already claimed victory last year, navigated her title shot flawlessly, and maintained her title until WrestleMania XL. It’s highly improbable that again, she’ll go after Liv Morgan and/or Rhea Ripley, nor cross over to SmackDown.

Furthermore, Iyo is displeased with the state of Damage CTRL. Her character needs to fail to intensify this narrative. Her role in this match is a recognized threat who falls short despite her stunning moves.

While some wrestlers have successfully clinched the win twice in a row, Iyo doesn’t seem likely to follow suit this time.

5. Zoey Stark

In principle, it would be great for the briefcase to go to someone who can boost their ranking and emerge from midcard. Zoey Stark, however, doesn’t seem to have the momentum required in 2024.

Despite her impressive demeanor and continuous self-improvement, she falls short in terms of charisma. Although well-received by the WWE Universe, nobody appears to be enthralled by her. Is she championship material worthy of WrestleMania 41’s headline? I believe the answer is clear.

4. Lyra Valkyria

Barely surpassing Zoey Stark is Lyra Valkyria. Like Stark, she’s had a single title reign, but her performance as NXT women’s champion was less than extraordinary. Her ascension to the main roster and subsequent title win were far from thrilling.

Despite recent good bookings, I can’t envision her with the briefcase, as I don’t find it appealing.

3. Naomi

This is where things get interesting. Though not my top three choice considering the whole roster, I’m curious whether Naomi will join The Bloodline storyline.

With Naomi holding the briefcase, The Bloodline might have to address the family tie-in, leading to a fascinating power play dynamic. This presents a more compelling storyline than the previous lower-ranking options.

2. Chelsea Green

Every past MITB victor has successfully converted their title shot into a championship, it’s high time for someone to fail.

Prearranging for a wrestler to lose can backfire if it’s a serious contender like Baron Corbin was. However, if it’s comedic heel like Chelsea Green, they can pull it off and keep their career intact. However, there are risks with this move which might not work if there aren’t any solid plans for this gimmick this year.

1. Tiffany Stratton

Tiffancy Stratton is my top pick. Imagining the lead up to WrestleMania 41 with Charlotte Flair against Jade Cargill, and what could be done in the interim is my end game.

The perfect scenario? Stratton snatches the MITB. She and Nia Jax remain tight. Jax wrestles Bayley at SummerSlam, leading to possible outcomes leading up to WrestleMania. My premise may seem convoluted, but it presents some god action for fans and sets the stage for interesting matches.
