During the AEW Dynamite and Collision TV tapings that took place in Buffalo, New York on Wednesday, EJ Nduka emerged victorious in a dark match against Marcus Mathers.

You may have noticed the sudden disappearance of Tony Schiavone, an AEW announcer, from the commentary booth during AEW Dynamite’s second hour. Schiavone took to social media after the show to clarify the reason behind his absence.

He expressed on Twitter, “Lost my voice. It was giving me problems all weekend. Thanks for asking.”

The recent episode of AEW Dynamite also saw Jay White progressing in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, beating Rey Fenix in a quarterfinal match. His next opponent will be determined by the outcome of a match between Jeff Jarrett and a “wild card” choice of Young Bucks, scheduled for the coming week’s show.
