Moving on to my own thoughts…
I am quite satisfied with the way they decided to portray Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley. Any other development could have been a waste of a climax or might have been excessively complex. Ideally, this should culminate in a Custody of Dominik match in which Rhea gets to grapple with him. Interesting, isn’t it?
I applaud the decision on all the title changes. Both Bron Breakker and LA Knight are well qualified to retain those midcard titles. Choosing Gunther for the world heavyweight title was also a smart move. Even though I’m not overly enthusiastic about Nia Jax’s run, I must confess it’s more engaging than Bayley’s previous actions.
The strategy of Drew McIntyre defeating CM Punk with Seth Rollins stirring the pot worked well. I’ve been supporting this for quite some time. Despite not considering the Bloodline Rules match equal to the one from WrestleMania, I honestly believe it was a good decision, well-executed, and great to see Roman Reigns back.
Overall, it gets a thumbs up from my side. They might not be the most epic matches ever, but all of them were quality shows.
