Glad you could join us for another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
We learnt yesterday that the renowned submission match between Bret Hart and Stone Cold Steve Austin, held at WrestleMania 13, is set to be “inducted” into the WWE Hall of Fame under a new segment called Immortal Moments. The criteria for a moment to achieve this honor is still not very clear, but it seems it’s not restricted to matches only.
Today’s question for discussion is: “What instances in WWE history, in your opinion, deserve the title of Immortal Moment honorees in the future?”

My thoughts on this…
I don’t wish to just list out all significant moments from wrestling history, but there are few that are worth mentioning.
Without any hesitation, I’d say that Mankind vs. The Undertaker at King of the Ring 1998 within Hell in a Cell should be the following induction, if left to me. Not just for getting two massive individualities for future ceremonies, it’s also an important part in the history of the franchise when it comes to brutality.
Stone Cold’s “Austin 3:16” speech following his King of the Ring win in 1996 springs to mind also. It’s important to remember, it’s not only about matches, but about defining moments.
I doubt WWE would involve negative instances like the end of The Undertaker’s series or The Montreal Screwjob, but the End of an Era match between Taker and Triple H with Shawn Michaels refereeing could be a possibility.
What about Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon in their WrestleMania X ladder match? That has my vote.
Also, considering the concept of ladder matches, there’s a possibility of inducting the whole TLC concept between The Hardy Boyz, The Dudley Boyz, and Edge & Christian.
I wouldn’t be surprised if The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan or Hogan’s heel turn that triggered the nWo are inducted someday, considering they also include WCW moments.
CM Punk’s pipebomb moment is certain. Daniel Bryan’s Yes Movement and/or his remarkable WrestleMania 30 finale could also be considered, if and when he departs from AEW.
Perhaps Trish Stratus and Lita for being the primary event of Monday Night Raw? On the same note, the Triple Threat between Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Ronda Rousey that concluded WrestleMania 35 seems inevitable in the future.
I have some reservations about inducting moments into a Hall of Fame, but their vast selection (and this is only a handful), gives them ample of content for years to come.
